Historic Villa Botticelli is situated in a charming traditional village, which is a delightful gathering of rustic stone farmhouses and majestic villas set in the lush countryside of Lucca in the Northern Tuscany.

The main structure of Villa Botticelli dates back to the year 500, while later additions and beautiful frescoes reflect the artistic period of the 18th century.

The enchanting walled garden was featured in the 2002 edition of Architetture del Verde, a book on elegant Lucchesi villas and formal Italianate gardens. The expansive garden will delight you with its extensive grapevine pergola, ancient grottos and fountains, and swimming pool.

For those wanting a little more exercise, the villa offers a gymnasium and our own private tennis court.

The main Villa has nine bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms and are named after some Italy's most famous renaissance artists.

Caravaggio, the three-room deluxe premier mastersuite, has a separate private salon with fireplace and a large bathroom with antique tub, double marble basin and glass shower.

The deluxe bedrooms, Bronzino, Raphael and Michelangelo, are very spacious with kingsize beds, antique furniture and all featureintricate, scenic frescoes.

The superior bedrooms, Fra Angelico and Da Vinci, are located off the main drawing room, a majestic room, complimented with Tuscan silk curtains, marble fireplace, fine antiques and a grand piano.

The upper floorhas three bedrooms: Botticelli, an airy, three-room premier suite with integral kitchenette and glorious indulgent bathroom. Giotto and Donatello, two delightful, intimate attic rooms. The upper floor also houses a state-of-the-art television and a cinema room with giant plasma screen and velvet sofas to relax on.

The basement houses the original kitchen with wine cellar.
